"A powerful agent is the right word whenever we come upon one of those intensely right words...the resulting effect is physical as well as spiritual and electrically prompt." -Mark Twain
We want you to feel better right now!
When I began collecting words in my classrooms, the results on the morale of my at risk students were positively phenomenal. One parent reported that they saved her child's life during a spell he served in solitary confinement. He recited the words he learned from class repeatedly until his spirits lifted. When my students graduated, I had them tell me their favorite positive word. I was always emotionally moved, and my word was and is always fabulous.
We began to use positive words at bedtime at home. I wrote each word down in the positive words journal. The collection grew. Once, I wanted to sleep in the car on the beach to ensure a perfect sun rising experience, before sleeping my son reminded us to play the 'good word game'. He was last to say his word and it was 'hotel'. He was three.
Whilst revising the manuscripts for this round of edits, my current students would critique each page. One student started reading the pages to the baby in her womb. Another said that she wished something like this was available when she were younger.
I then met a n g e l life coach, Lisa Lawrence, and collaborated with a n g e l partner, Adrea L. Peters. Adrea is a m a z i n g.
We envision the pages everywhere... in the classrooms, on the smartboards, on t-shirts, on greeting cards, on phones, on computer screens, randomly accessible to everyone. We believe this word revolution can change our world, right now!
Digital mediums will be our current method to blast these words into the world. Each series has been lovingly crafted in a different format. The pages are p i c t u r e less. We give these words to you. Each word is yours to do with what you choose.
"People with an impoverished vocabulary live an impoverished emotional life. People with rich vocabularies have a multihued palette of colors with which to paint their experience, not only for others, but for themselves as well." - Anthony Robbins
I love you!
